Yes, you can. XCSoar 6.0 can read LKMAPS. However, you will notice two things:

1. slow map drawing when you have a lot of topology labels
2. too many labels on the screen

LK8000 has a different control of topology labels and works perfectly with its maps.

XCSoar 5.2.4 and older versions cannot read LKMAPS.
